Approaching BIM Transformation with Voxel1 methodology ensures success with a range of benefits through the implementation journey.
A THOUROGHLY TESTED AND PROVEN IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLOGY
Capture & Analyse client’s requirements to help develop the next steps of implementation. At this stage, Voxel1 BIM Management team shall work with the client to understand the requirements and document the as-is condition of the project/organization. This exercise will help both Voxel1 BIM and Client’s BIM team together to document the project requirements and standards in detail and identify the most efficient planning and skillset requirements to achieve the targets.
Prepare the groundwork required at both the technology level as well as process level before initiation the adoption. This stage is critical for the BIM Team to spend time organizing the standards, workflows, templates, and any project-specific setup requirements defined during the Assessment stage. As a result of this exercise, both Voxel1 BIM team and the Client BIM team are fully ready for and are in sync with the next steps in the adoption stage.
Provide required training sessions for staff at all levels and kick-start the project. A detailed project BIM kick-off session will be conducted at the beginning of this stage to ensure the whole project/client’s consultant ecosystem is educated and brought to the same page. This session will help with setting the right expectations for the project and the delivery approach. As a result of this organized approach, the project BIM delivery is performed in a highly controlled and efficient manner minimizing the risk.
Continue to monitor the implementation and optimize the system and approach for continuous improvement. All BIM Standards and workflows are put to test through the project delivery process and are tweaked and improved as the project progresses. This stage also includes providing required training sessions to the new team members as well as incorporating new technologies and workflows that were relevant during the course of the project.
