          Our Process

          Our collaboration starts with understanding the project requirements and client requirements to help Voxel1 BIM develop a detailed technical and commercial proposal.

          A thorough understanding of the client’s expectations will result in scope and deliverable definition done by the Voxel1 BIM team. Some of the key items typically discussed at this stage of the project stage are category, configuration, scale, schedule, milestones, etc.

          Voxel1 team takes lead in communicating the process and timelines with all project stakeholders and organizes the required meetings to get the project kicked off as per the timelines.

          All project-specific milestones and delivery timelines are defined and mutually agreed upon as part of the contracting stage. Voxel1 BIM team deploys additional resources based on the project requirements to ensure timely delivery.

Maintenance

Developing and maintaining the office wide BIM Library requires the team to follow a standardized approach with modeling standards, information standards and approval protocols.

Library Maintenance

Some of the key issues to consider while developing the BIM Library include;

Define the BIM Modeling Standards based on the target LOD and the general BIM use for the project scope of work.

Prepare the information and parameter matrix for all component categories.

Develop a comprehensive material library to use for all components with consistency.

Use the existing online BIM Resources to download the initial BIM Model as a starting point.

Develop the conversion process for project specific library to office standard library.

Ensure all the unwanted 3D information and parameters are purged out to keep the library component clean and manageable.

Maintain the office BIM Library frequently to match with the existing product catalogue.

Train selected staff to develop and maintain the BIM Library for the organization and also for the project specific.
