          Our Process

          Our collaboration starts with understanding the project requirements and client requirements to help Voxel1 BIM develop a detailed technical and commercial proposal.

          A thorough understanding of the client’s expectations will result in scope and deliverable definition done by the Voxel1 BIM team. Some of the key items typically discussed at this stage of the project stage are category, configuration, scale, schedule, milestones, etc.

          Voxel1 team takes lead in communicating the process and timelines with all project stakeholders and organizes the required meetings to get the project kicked off as per the timelines.

          All project-specific milestones and delivery timelines are defined and mutually agreed upon as part of the contracting stage. Voxel1 BIM team deploys additional resources based on the project requirements to ensure timely delivery.

BIM TOOLS

The software and hardware aspect of Building Information Modeling has been developing radically the past few years. Each software available in the market has its own set of strengths and weaknesses and no single tool can perform all the functions during a full project life-cycle.

BIM Modeling Tools

BIM Modeling /Authoring tools are those tools which have the capabilities to develop object based information rich 3D models. These are the tools used to initiate the process of the BIM. They have out of the box capability to categorize the building elements into building objects such as Walls, Beams, Ducts etc.

Some of the leading BIM modeling tools currently available in the industry are developed by technology giants like Autodesk, Tekla, Microstation etc.

BIM Analysis Tools

Analysis tools have the capabilities to use the BIM Models to analyze and report the results in a presentable and quantifiable format. Some of the major features include massing studies for orientation and solar radiation analysis at design stage, design coordination using clash detection at design development stage and construction simulation and cost estimation during the construction stage of the project.

Analysis tools are built with the capabilities to import and export the BIM models developed in various software using a unified file extension like Cobie or IFC etc.
