          Our Process

          Our collaboration starts with understanding the project requirements and client requirements to help Voxel1 BIM develop a detailed technical and commercial proposal.

          A thorough understanding of the client’s expectations will result in scope and deliverable definition done by the Voxel1 BIM team. Some of the key items typically discussed at this stage of the project stage are category, configuration, scale, schedule, milestones, etc.

          Voxel1 team takes lead in communicating the process and timelines with all project stakeholders and organizes the required meetings to get the project kicked off as per the timelines.

          All project-specific milestones and delivery timelines are defined and mutually agreed upon as part of the contracting stage. Voxel1 BIM team deploys additional resources based on the project requirements to ensure timely delivery.

BIM Team

BIM Director

BIM Director is a leadership role to define and lead the over all BIM direction for the organization. This role bridges the communication between the rest of the management teams and guides the BIM Manager to ensure that the company’s BIM vision is set and achieved.

Although, a BIM Director is not required to have the detail technical knowledge on the software, this role is expected to have in-depth understanding of Building Information Modeling. BIM Director should have a general understanding on the different BIM Tools available in the market and help identify the right technology for the organization.

Key Responsibilities - BIM Director

Some of the key responsibilities of an experienced BIM Director include;

Influence and educate the management to invest and adopt to BIM system.

Build the BIM Task force for the organization comprising of both internal and external team members.

Encourage the team to research and learn emerging technologies in the industry.

Lead the BIM Implementation activities including the development of standards and methodologies.

Manage the initial pilot project activities to test the new methodology and coordinate activities to the staff as needed.

Maintain communication with software vendors and resellers to keep up to date with the industry trends.

Market the organizational BIM Capabilities through presentations and talks in events and client meetings.

Develop the BIM Marketing strategy and coordinate the materials required for it.

Work with the marketing director to ensure that the organization image as a BIM capable team in maintained.
