          Our Process

          Our collaboration starts with understanding the project requirements and client requirements to help Voxel1 BIM develop a detailed technical and commercial proposal.

          A thorough understanding of the client’s expectations will result in scope and deliverable definition done by the Voxel1 BIM team. Some of the key items typically discussed at this stage of the project stage are category, configuration, scale, schedule, milestones, etc.

          Voxel1 team takes lead in communicating the process and timelines with all project stakeholders and organizes the required meetings to get the project kicked off as per the timelines.

          All project-specific milestones and delivery timelines are defined and mutually agreed upon as part of the contracting stage. Voxel1 BIM team deploys additional resources based on the project requirements to ensure timely delivery.

BIM Manager

Being the single point of contact for all things BIM at the organization, a BIM Manager is required to have in-depth technical and management skills. This role is key to initiate, manage and maintain the BIM Implementation.

At organization level, a BIM Manager should guide the core implementation team along the BIM Roadmap envisioned by the team. BIM Manager should monitor all stages of implementation and lead the team towards set-goals in a timely manner.

At a project specific level, a BIM Manager should have the technical expertise to be able to guide the coordinators and modelers in the right direction for project specific activities. One should be able to set and enforce the BIM Standards consistently though all the projects and also frequently check for quality of the models.

Key Responsibilities - BIM Manager

Some of the key responsibilities of an experienced BIM Manager include;

Develop and present the organization level BIM Road map for implementation.

Guide the implementation team towards the set BIM goals.

Document & present the status of implementation.

Develop organization level BIM workflows and standards to use for all projects.

Develop an organization wide knowledge sharing plat form to support better communication between all teams.

Work closely with the BIM Director to ensure that the managements vision is clearly communicated to the functional staff.

Provide trainings to all staff members as per the implementation plan.

Manage project specific training requirements based on the project team skill-set.

Work closely with the project manager to develop project specific BIM standards.

Guide the teams to understand and use the standards consistently through all projects.

Ensure quality of models and information is monitored.

Support both internal and external collaboration activities by closely monitoring the project specific BIM Coordinators.

Work towards organization level change to more productive and sustainble working procedures.
